USED,1858 Sharps Sporting Rifle, .54 caliber - $750.00 OBO
I have just taken this in on a
trade. I have shot this rifle 20 times at various distances to check it
out, I had planned on keeping it myself. I found it to be very
accurate. It has a patch box, checkered stock and forearm, single
trigger. It does not have the barrel band, it uses a screw to hold the
forearm on. The man I got it from is in my cavalry reenacting unit and
he never fired it live loaded. There is a little blue wore off on the end of
the barrel where he carried it in a leather thimble attached to his
saddle. Otherwise the rifle looks brand new. The bore shines like a mirror.
